This is a long review to strap in. Two things to consider while reading this review.
1) This is a long term review. I have had this system for several years now so this is not a first impression kind of review.
2) I am very, very particular. I don't apologize for that, but I want you to understand that I have very high standards.

Having given those forewarnings, it is probably even more meaningful when I tell you that I think Mike Bergen is an extraordinary HVAC contractor. He put in a full HVAC system (forced air, gas heating with A/C) for me several years ago to replace the original house system. He was not the cheapest quote, but I feel it was a very solid value. He and his crew were very professional and efficient. We ran into some hiccups with the installation and he did a great job of explaining the options we could take to work around the problems. He did a very good job of listening to what my priorities and needs were for the system.
I recently ran into a small issue and I was able to immediately reach HIM on the phone.
I will ONLY use Mike Bergen for my HVAC needs as long as I am in the Springfield area.

My 87 year old mother-in-law’s furnace was not functional during the cold spell in January. I live out of state and found Mike’s company through a Google search. What a lucky break for me. He went out to my mother-in-law’s house right away, started work on putting a new furnace in and kept me up to date on their progress. He was as concerned as I was about getting the heat on for my mother-in-law so they worked all day in that cold weather and finished the install that day. It was so nice to find not only a good technician but a good person. Thanks again Mike.

During the coldest weather we have had in January, our furnace stopped working. I called Mike Bergen and he and his crew arrived when they said they would and diagnosed the problem quickly. Unfortunately we needed a new furnace. Mike and his crew replaced the furnace very quickly and walked us through the entire process. The cost was reasonable and they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Mike Bergen. He is very knowledgeable and a very professional person.

I have used Mike Bergen Heating and Cooling several times and have recommended him to close family members. I have never been disappointed. Mike has accomplished all task he promised and more than he promised at different times. It has been my experience Mike is a man of his word.. If He gives you a price He sticks with that price. That is how he has done business with myself and my family.. Mike's crew was polite and knew their craft very well. They acted professional, while in my home and cleaned the job site when they left and hauled off all old material as soon as the job was accomplished,
